The average sale price for these homes was $783,854.
The average time on the market was 115 days.

The weather turned chilly here in The Sea Ranch just in time for Christmas. A couple of mornings this month we even awoke to frost. Light, but white none-the-less - so at least a few of us had a White Christmas (for a few hours). We had the usual amount of rain, but most of the days were bright, warm sunshine and the horizon line was crisp and clear. Sunsets frequently included the green flash. As always happens this time of year, lights were seen on in most of the homes and the local stores were full of shoppers. Quite festive, but in a quiet sort of way. Very fitting for life here on the Ranch.

Home sales have been brisk this year and construction crews have continued to be very active with new home construction and updating of older structures. The Sea Ranch Connect Project is proceeding as planned and northern residences are being connected to the high speed internet service right on schedule. We expect all of the homes on the Ranch to be connected by late spring. We have elected a new Board of Directors, the editor of our local newspaper (the Soundings) is changing, we replaced the siding on one of our recreation centers, there is new management of the commercial property at 1000 Annapolis Road, Two Fish Bakery has taken over the operation of the Stewarts Point Store, etc, etc, etc… Continuity is being maintained and that is as it should be in a healthy community such as this.

Winter is a great time to visit and I recommend that you consider mixing pleasure with pleasure by taking up residence in one of the vacation rental homes for a few days so that you can check out the beautiful homes currently available on the market while also escaping from your usual routine - whatever it might be.
